Ulaganayagam Kamal's inspiration for Dasavatharam Krishnaveni Paati Role

Being different is the unique style of Ulaganayagan Kamal , In Dasavatharam movie, he played 10 different characters and nailed it with all the characters performance. 

Everyone knows Actor Suriya did fantastic dad role in Vaaranam Aayiram movie and he took Director Gautham Menon's dad as a reference and gave his best. 
Likewise, in Dasavatharam movie, Kamal played Krishnaveni Paati (old age) character. Do anyone know, who he took as inspiration or idol to do such a tough character?

It's none other than his own grandmother. 

Michael Westmore was the makeup man for the grand Dasavatharm project. Kamal sir discussed a lot and explained the details and what he expects. The final output was what we saw on the big screen. Later, he explained that he kept his own grandmother in his mind and get the work done with makeup artists. One simply cannot give us the perfection in everything unless he is Ulaganayagan !!!
